Bitcon receives NABARD carbon-project FDD empanelment
NABARD’s 14 October 2026 letter sets out a two-year carbon-project financial due diligence empanelment for Bitcon, subject to its terms and annual review.
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has issued a letter dated for Bitcon’s empanelment as a Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Consultant for carbon projects.
The stated term is two years beginning 14 October 2026, subject to the empanelment terms and annual review. Individual assignments are made separately through written communication.

A separate carbon-project empanelment
This empanelment is separate from Bitcon’s NABARD TEV appointment dated 30 May 2025. It is not a renewal or replacement of that appointment.
Empanelment does not guarantee an assignment or establish exclusivity. The scope, reporting requirements and applicable terms must be confirmed for each proposed assignment. It does not imply endorsement of a project or approval of funding.
Independent financial assessment
Bitcon’s carbon-project financial due diligence covers promoter and project background, market assumptions, financial viability, profitability and management capability. The assessment is distinct from promoter-side documentation and coordination of carbon validation or verification.
Before accepting an independent appointment, Bitcon checks that it has no direct or indirect interest in the evaluated project and no connection with its promoters. Bitcon does not arrange finance for a project it assesses independently.
Financial due diligence does not certify a carbon project, verify emissions reductions, issue carbon credits or guarantee financing. Read more about the independent carbon-project financial assessment scope.
